Andrew Claasen aka Drew of Drew's Barbershop
Today I am featuring the most talented barber in Uitenhage or most definitely in the eastern cape if not in the whole of South Africa. His name is Andrew Claasen but better known to eveyone as "Drew". His light years ahead of barbers with twice the years experience in the industry ( Im not just saying this to get a free haircut for doing a feature on his barbershop) but because it is the truth (come check it out yourself).  He is the owner of Drew's barbershop almost 10 years now. Weekend at the Karoo Mighty Men Conference 2015

The camping site from the hill. It looks like a small village.

What an awesome blessed weekend we experienced at the Karoo Mighty Men Conference. The following speakers were at the conference;
  • Louis Els
  • Afrika Mhlophe
  • Angus Buchan
The praise and worship team consisted of Retief Burger, Joe Niemand and Dewald Gouws.

On the second day the young men already started talking about "If we come next year" we must bring this with and do that. So that's an indication that they really enjoyed the conference.

To see at least 20 000 men together at one place to take a stand for God is overwhelming. And the messages that were shared with us really touched m y heart. I would like to thank the following people for their monatory and non monatory contributions in making it possible for the young men to experience an event like this.

Craig and Carmen Gallon
Jody Jacobs
Everton and Maevia Barnes
Gerald and Ronel Williams
Linda Mlali
Denise Barnes
Larry & Jameela Wilkerson
Rob & Charmaine Visser
Cyril & Melanie Constable

In Loving Memory of my Father in Heaven

Today is your birthday in Heaven above.

No farewell words were spoken and no time to say goodbye. You were gone before I knew it and only God knows why. My heart still aches in sadness and secret tears still flow. What it meant to me to loose you no one will ever know. Since you will never be forgotten I pledge to you today, a hollowed place in my heart is where you will always stay.

Thank you Daddy for all that you have taught me threw the years. I can truely say it made me a better man and even a greater husband and father. The knowledge and the skills you passed down to me is priceless and can not be acquired at any school, technicon or university. Who will I turn to for answers when life does not make sense, when I need advice, ideas about DIY projects at home.

Oh, Daddy, if I could turn back time and once more hear your voice; I would tell you that out of all the Daddy's you would still be my only choice. The years may come and go but your memory will not be erased. Please always know I love you and no one can take your place.

Today, Jesus, as You are listening in your home up above; would You go and find my Daddy and give him all my love.

Life is going to shovel dirt on you

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyones amazement he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

MORAL:
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happens.
3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less from people but more from yourself.

You have two choices ... Smile and close this page, or pass this along to someone else to share the lesson.

Psalm  37: 27 - 29  Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell forevermore. For the Lord loves justice, And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell in it forever.

The best names start with the letter J

Like Jehovah, when He wanted to choose the father of His people, He chose Jacob. To bless Jacob's children, He blessed Joseph. To lead His people to the promised land, He send Joshua. When He wanted to save Nineveh, He send Jonah. And to save the world, He send John the Baptist as the forerunner of Jesus, the son of Joseph from the tribe of Judah, who lived in Jerusalem.

To save South Africa, He send Jacob Zuma.

Daddy's big Princess

She just loves the camera
Today I'm gonna introduce to you my big princess. Her name is Viteshnia and she just turned 9 on the 11th of April 2015.

She just loves modelling and she promised to teach Madison all the modelling "moves" as soon as she turned 3 and thats exactly what she did. We have so much laughter when she teaches Madi the moves and its so funny to see how they move their hips (it seems as their hips might dislocate at anytime) She loves her little sister so much.

Here is a few pictures of the modelling pageants she took part in.

Just this week she was selected for the netball B-team at school. I am so proud of her. Doesn't matter how big or old she is, one thing remains she will always be Daddy's little princess. Love you to the moon and back Tessy.

Our people in this land are to scared to take the risk and open a small shop or any business to generate an income for themselves but as soon as they see it fit, they want to loot the foreigners shops and chase them out of the country, they are just doing what our people are afraid to do(tata ma chance). Please read and obey they BIBLE

The meaning of the word BIBLE
B - Basic
